New year, new charter base! We are happy to announce that as of 2022, Nautika Centar Nava is opening a new charter base. Along with our charter bases in Dalmatia, we decided to open a new one in the North Adriatic to provide our guests with a plethora of sailing routes to choose from. The newest base will be situated in Pula bay, in the new Marina Polesana which is part of the Nautical Tourism Complex on St. Katarina island.

Pula town is a famous tourist destination in Istria. It is situated only 11 km away from the airport which connects it with both domestic and international destinations. Many people know and love Pula for its multitude of ancient Roman buildings. For instance, the well-preserved amphitheater - Pula Arena. A coast lined with plenty of beaches, certainly comes as a big plus. It is also well-known among nautical lovers for it’s protected harbor. Really, who wouldn’t enjoy the untouched nature, calm sea, and mild climate?

In the northern side of the Pula bay lies the Island of St. Katarina. Once a military base, the complex is nowadays a cultural heritage compound. It is connected to Pula town with a bridge, and it’s accessible all year round. So, it comes as no surprise Kermas Istra decided to develop a brand new marina on the island.

Marina Polesana

Marina Polesana is set to meet even the most demanding nautical tourists. With 150 sea berths and 410 dry berths, it’s going to be one of the largest marinas in the region. It features a restaurant, a café bar, parking areas and shops. The marina is part of the Nautical Tourism complex which will include a five-star hotel “Monumenti”, too. The hotel will open in 2023 and it is going to have 100 rooms, many recreation amenities, parking and a garage, and even a shopping mall.

This modern marina is an amazing starting point for all sailors who are looking to explore the untouched nature of North Adriatic. One of the most attractive destinations is surely National Park Brijuni Archipelago. This group of islands, located close to Pula, is rich in flora and fauna brought from all over the world. However, sailors love it for many deep indented bays which offer endless anchoring possibilities.
