Ro-goz-ni-ca, yes it will take you a few times to pronounce it correctly, but don’t worry, you will get there. And why would you learn this tongue twister of Croatian? Because we are opening a third Nava base in Rogoznica. The charming seaside town is located North of Split, around 60km away, in the municipality of Šibenik-Knin.
The Marina Frapa Resort Rogoznica is built in the Soline bay, just perfectly situated between Split and Šibenik.
Choosing it as our third base was the perfect next step for our business. The marina within the resort is one of the best-equipped marinas in the whole Mediterranean and has won many prizes, like the “Golden sail” award.
This is no surprise because it has plenty of modern facilities:
10 moles with 462 equipped berths
two restaurants, a sushi bar, a pastry shop, a nightclub, and many bars
parking, Tesla charger, car rental
boutique, nautical equipment trade, souvenir shop
And of course, the center of Rogoznica has all the other amenities you may need, such as a post office, ATMs, shops, pharmacy, ambulance, and restaurants.
Where is Rogoznica?
Rogoznica is located in Dalmatia, right between the coastal towns Split and Šibenik. It is the ideal gateway to explore the Adriatic. From here you can either head south towards Split or use the opportunity to set north, where plenty of coastlines, bays, and islands await. We recommend you to head towards North Dalmatia and have a tour around the famous Kornati archipelago.
How to get there
If you’re arriving by plane, the closest airport is the one in Split. Actually, it is only a 35 min drive away. Of course, if you fly into a different airport, like Zadar, Zagreb or Dubrovnik, you can inform us in advance and we will discuss the best solutions with you.
From Split or Split airport, if you’re heading directly to your charter, there are plenty of options on how to get to Rogoznica.
…. by bus
When you’re traveling on a budget, public transport is your best choice.
From Split airport you first have two choices:
You catch the bus to Split.
There are buses frequently that will take you directly to the bus terminal, from where you can catch a bus to Rogoznica.
Throughout the day, there are multiple departures (which you can check here) and the journey takes around 1 hour. The fares will accumulate roughly to 8€ per person.
Or, you head to the bus terminal of Trogir, a small seaside town close to the airport. Trogir is only 10 min away and you will head in the direction of Rogoznica.
There are two ways to get there: Either you catch the airport shuttle that leaves regularly or you take the bus number 37, which is operated by “Promet Split” and costs around 11 kn, or 1,50€.
…. by taxi
If you have more luggage or you simply prefer a more comfortable ride, you can take a taxi. Here you have the choice, whether you just want to get one at the airport or if you prefer to prearrange your trip (the latter will be cheaper).
Starting the drive from Split center will take about 1 hour while Split airport is closer to Rogoznica and that journey is only 35 min long.
Here you can find an overview of available vehicles.
Taking a normal car, fitting 3 people, prices start at 42€ for departures from Split airport and 80€ for departures from Split center.
…. by driving yourself
Right at the airport, it is also possible to rent a car and drive it yourself. From the airport, you will head north, on the coastal road Nr. 8 towards Šibenik.
Or perhaps you are coming to Croatia in your own car. Either way, you have the possibility to make use of the private parking in the marina complex. Charges of 1,40€ an hour or 10€ a day apply.
…. by Nava transfer
If those options aren’t for you and you’re already with your mind on your charter yacht, let us handle the details and organize your transfer. We can offer you an exclusive pick-up service, right from the gate of your arrival airport or the place of your choice.
Our partners will welcome you in Croatia, handle your luggage, and bring you to the van that will drive you safely and comfortably to our marina in Rogoznica.
All you need to do is inform us about the flight number and arrival time, so we can track your plane in case of delays.
This service costs ?? € in total and can take up to ?? people including luggage.
Check-in and check-out in Rogoznica
