Split - City Arisen from an Emperor Palace
"Nautika centar Nava" headquarters has been located for a decade at the maritime junction of Dalmatia: Uvala Baluni, in the western part of the city harbour. This exceptionally attractive and beautiful part of the harbour "Nava" shares with trophied sailing clubs "Mornar" and "Labud" and ACI marina.
The town of Split, founded the Roman Emperor Diocletian some 1700 years ago, owing to the natural beauty of this area. He erected a palace which is even today not only a tourist but also a business central point of the town. Long ago the town of Split changed its boundaries outside the palace walls, and now is the second largest town in Croatia and the biggest maritime town.
About 300.000 inhabitants live today on the
Split peninsula. You will not regret if you take some time out for sightseeing, whether before or after your cruising, as the town itself is situated in the central part of the tourist region of Dalmatia, from which leads the easiest way for choosing the route for a holiday destination on one of the numerous islands.
In order to get to marina "Nautika centar Nava" more easily, here we are giving you the basic instructions. Driving your own car, at the entrance of Split, you should turn towards the tunnel through the Marjan hill, taking a glance at the one of the most beautiful stadium, "Poljudska ljepotica". Having passed the tunnel at the crossroads with a traffic lights, and going straight for some 30 m you will find yourself at another crossroads, this one without a traffic light. You are here supposed to turn left and drive the same road for another 300 m. In front of the big white building, which is the residence of City government, just turn right to Uvala Baluni. Welcome!

Dubrovnik - a Tourist Artery of Croatia
On the tenth anniversary, "Nautika centar Nava" opened another charter base at the ACI marina of Dubrovnik and so enriched its charter clientele with an option of "one way charter", which offers more pleasant holiday with no pressures of coming back to the same port.
The city of Dubrovnik is situated in the very south of the Republic of Croatia, at the foot of the Srd hill (412 m). The town's oldest core is the historical central point, entered officially the UNESCO's List of World Heritage, simply called the "Town" by locals. It is bounded by ancient defensive walls of 140.000 square meters, within about 5.000 inhabitants live. This old walled part of the city encloses the unique urban entirety, with the Luca Square as its central point from which the main street Stradun opens a view to the line of beautiful old buildings, among which stands out the Sponza Palace (Divona), constructed in the 16th century, followed by the Baroque church of St Vlaho (St Blasius), the Rektor's Palace (the Italian architect Onofrio della Cava was responsible for the design and erection of it in 15th century), the Prince's Palace from 15th century with the Cultural-Historical Museum in it. It is well worth mentioning the western corner of the Držic Square where stands the monumental Cathedral of Velika Gospa (Our Lady), which houses a very rich treasury with many noteworthy artefacts. Supplementary fact of 2554 sunny hours a year only enhance the attraction of this tourist jewel.
The city of Dubrovnik is linked with all major Adriatic harbours. Regular ship lines between Pescara, Bari, Ancona, Split, Rijeka, Venice and Rimini are maintained. It is also linked with all major European destinations through tilipi Airport.
"Nautika centar Nava" office is situated at one of the most beautiful ACI marinas on the Adriatic coast, the one in Komolac, about 2 km away from Gruž harbour. Local bus service from early morning hours until 2 a.m. connects marina with the centre of Dubrovnik, and with the Old town. Marina of Dubrovnik offers 450 moorings, 110 boat places on land, technical services, 60 ton travel lift, petrol station, mini-market, exchange office, coffee bar, restaurants, tennis courts, swimming pool, nautical equipment shop.
