There are three the most usual winds blowing on this side of Adriatic:
Bura - NE wind blowing from mainland, with very strong gusts, usually in spring especially March, clear sunny sky but very good for passionate sailors. Very rare in the summertime.
Jugo - SE wind, rough sea , rainy weather, typical for autumn and winter
Maestral - NW wind, usual guest in summer in afternoon hours, good for sailing.

In high season, VHF weather forecast on channel 69 each hour, in Croatian, English, German and Italian, in the above order. There is possibility of getting a weather forecast on emergency channel 16 as well. Harbormaster?s office can usually be contacted on VHF Channel 10, marinas on Channel 17.
